After a tricky start to the session due to the snow and ice, the participants used the opportunity to relax and be in the moment with the ponies in a safe non-judgemental learner led, environment.
“Research has shown that horses and humans have developed a unique way to communicate with each other, a kind of language. What linguists call an ‘embodied language system’ seems to have developed - a way of communicating that’s reliant on touch, emotional connection and becoming attuned to physical movements.”
